Atelier Tammam is the couture offering from London designer Lucy Tammam. The St Martins trained classical tailor has been creating bespoke hand crafted wedding gowns since 2006.
Since launching the couture range Tammam has attracted a celebrity following including the likes of Alicia Silverstone, Olivia Williams, Erin O’Connor and Rachel McDowell. Cited as one of the designers in the running for the royal wedding dress and described as “absolutely gorgeous” by Jason Gardiner, the Tammam couture collection is the new label of choice for discerning brides.
Based in Bloomsbury, the Atelier and showroom will be open later in the year (until then customers are invited to the studio in WC1). All aspects of the collection are considered for sustainability, environmental impact and integrity. The unique ethical supply chain consists of organic peace silk spinners and weavers, to fair trade tailors and lace makers working with traditional crafts updated and executed to the highest quality for the Tammam lines.
New for 2012 will be a bespoke lace service, designed and hand crafted to each brides interests, loves and desires. Tammam wedding gowns renowned for their classical elegance, impeccable tailoring and exquisite craftsmanship are available bespoke from the Atelier. Tammam ready to wear bridal, bridesmaid, flower girl and evening ranges, can be found at select boutiques, on line and direct from the atelier.
